King Travis Carter vs. Keisuke | ★★½
On the first volume, King Travis Carter made his appearance known after the match between Johnny Bones and Keisuke, only to be thrown out of the ring after being rejected by Johnny Bones. Coming off a tremendous loss, Keisuke walked into the second volume with high hopes. However, he couldn’t spoil the debut of King Travis Carter, losing to the nonchalant Glorious DDT. This was a highly competitive match consisting of intense, explosive action, but King Travis Carter wanted more and grabbed a steel chair. Just before he was able to hit Keisuke, Johnny Bones came to the rescue of the defenceless Japanese sensation and chased Carter out of the ring.
Tony Mustang appeared on the titantron, expressing his anger and announcing that he will team the odd duo of Johnny Bones and Keisuke against King Travis Carter and his mystery partner on the next Volume.
Eddie Barrett vs. Chase Adams | ★★★
Making their first appearances, the confident Eddie Barrett and cocky Chase Adams made their way to the ring for a fight. Eddie Barrett put on an impressive effort against Chase Adams but failed to walk out of the ring as the victor. Chase Adams out of nowhere, drilled Eddie into the canvas with his signature Butterfly Snap DDT, securing his first ever win in the Render Wrestling squared circle.
Dan Gunshot vs. Martin Hunter | ★★
An another match involving two of the most recent additions to RW’s talented roster, Dan Gunshot immediately charged into Martin Hunter with a devastating clothesline into a corner, not taking any chances. Dan Gunshot established sheer dominance for a majority of his contest, but was caught left-handed by Martin Hunter, submitting to the fatal Chicken Wing Chokehold submission.
(RW Championship): Denis Ryley vs. Alex Irvine vs. Xander Payne | ★★★ ½
For our Main Event, we had a brutal and unbelievable match up to determine the first ever RW Heavyweight Champion. On the first installment of RW, Xander Payne had beaten Colton Pierce in dominating fashion to secure himself a spot in this match, however, later on, he had heinously interfered in what was sure to be a fantastic main event between Denis Ryley and Alex Irvine. The match was forced to be declared as a no-contest, so the Chairman, Tony Mustang stepped in and announced that both Alex Irvine and Denis Ryley would get the world title opportunity. Now the match was set and hyped up, everything seemed to be going fine but before the bell rang, Xander Payne had ambushed Alex Irvine, prompting a sudden start to the match. Although the fans couldn’t stop themselves from expressing their disdain for the Paynekiller throughout the match, they were still on their feet from bell to bell as the match had athletic suicide dives, brutal uses of weapons, innovative reversals and even the barricade being shattered apart by Xander Payne after he speared Denis Ryley through it. After that Xander went on to Package Piledrive Alex Irvine into a steel chair, which had Irvine out for a long time, but instead of going for the pin, Xander got into a brawl with Denis which led to both of them being out in the stage area, where Colton Pierce had performed a surprise RKO to Xander Payne as revenge from the previous volume, but after The Viper went backstage he had encountered Travis Carter who requested for him to be his tag partner, to which Colton accepted. Back to the action, Alex Irvine somehow had gotten up, and Denis Ryley had crawled back to ringside. These two athletes had a few uncanny sequences before Alex dodged Denis’ Tope Suicida attempt and followed up with the Codebreaker. The self-proclaimed Best In The World then proceeded to roll Denis back into the ring before getting clocked in the back of the head with a brutal baseball bat shot that sucked the air out of the arena, courtesy of the resurrected Xander Payne who would go on to enter the ring and cover the limp body of Denis Ryley to become the inaugural RW World Heavyweight Champion. Denis Ryley showed unbelievable resilience throughout the fight and Alex Irvine got so close to the win, but practically got it stolen from him.
The show had its highs and lows, but overall it was successful, as now RW begins making their way to the newly announced PPV, Troubleshoot. We had a star studding matchup made for the next volume in the form of Colton Pierce and Travis Carter versing Johnny Bones and Keisuke, and we are also looking forward to finding out who the new champ’s next opponent will be. What will happen concerning Colton Pierce and Xander Payne’s situation? How will Alex Irvine and Denis Ryley look to bounce back after this outstanding performance, but devastating loss?
vMVP #2 | Xander Payne
With his impressive display of resilience and ambition last Volume, Denis Ryley became the first man to hold the RW Tag Team Championship and the first vMVP award. Volume 2’s MVP award will be presented to Xander Payne for his surefire dominance in the main event. He has had a massive presence on the first two Volumes, making a huge impact. He walked out of Volume 2 with the Render Wrestling Championship, making history.
