Macias And Gracias vs. The Hellhounds | ★★★ ½
A true back and forth as both teams gave it their all in that match. But with the added advantage of their manager, Mr. Cromwell, by their side, the Hellhounds toppled the Mark's and ultimately won the match. As tensions boil between the Mark's it looks like Gracias has learned to do things by himself, attacking Jason without the aid of Macias and now facing him, could this lead to betrayal, or will Gracias come out on top and give his team a shot at the titles at Troubleshoot? We can't forget Denis attacking Mark's after their match, so ultimately they have to stick together to win those titles and settle the score.
Eddie Barrett vs. Jake Cross | ★★★
Jake Cross went one on one with Eddie Barrett this week. Both of these competitors have lost their previous matches, so these two both needed a win to get back on track. This match went back and forth, but when Jake Cross hit the Crossbreaker, it looked like he had the match won. Surprisingly, Eddie kicked out. It wouldn't be long until Jake was in the same situation though, as he managed to kick out of Eddie's Air Bender. These two gave this match their all, but Eddie Barrett would hit a second Air Bender to get the victory, getting a needed win, as Jake Cross gained his second consecutive loss. This would bring Eddie Barrett to Troubleshoot, to compete for the Braveheart championship.
Chase Adams vs Garrett Adams | ★★ ½
The undefeated Chase Adams took on the debuting Garrett Wilson this volume. This match started off going back and forth, with Chase Adams getting control early on, but Garrett bouncing back soon after. Adams nearly won with a super-kick followed by a straitjacket German Suplex, but Wilson would kick out. Despite this, Chase would soon after deliver a kneecap brainbuster, landing him yet another win on our way to Troubleshoot, where he will join Eddie Barrett and Martin Hunter in the inaugural Braveheart championship match. Can Chase keep up this momentum leading up to the PPV? But more importantly, can Chase Adams before the first Braveheart Champion?
Xander Payne vs. Adam Wolf | ★★★★
(RW Championship Open Challenge)
The RW World Heavyweight Champion, Xander Payne announced at Volume 3 that he would be hosting an open challenge for his world championship and he did so this week. The challenger was at first revealed to be Denis Ryley, however, he would then be attacked by an unknown identity, leaving him unable to compete. However, the open challenge would still continue though, as the debuting Adam Wolf would replace Ryley to deliver one of the best matches in Render Wrestling history. Wolf pulled out all the stops in hopes to walk out with the title in his debut, with a flurry of offence that almost put the champ’s lights out, such as devastating suicide dives, impressive top rope splashes and even his signature move ‘The Awakening’. The champion was no slouch though, as Xander Payne responded with a cannonball, pop up powerbomb, tope con hilo, and a brutal powerbomb on the apron, before revealing his true new trump card, which came in the form of a ruthless Torture Rack Backstabber. This move would ultimately be the finish to this classic, and the Paynekiller would stand tall at the end of the night with the RW World Heavyweight Championship still in his grasps.
vMVP #4 | Adam Wolf
In a losing attempt, Adam Wolf answered Xander Payne’s Render Wrestling Championship open challenge, showcasing his excellence in the main event of Volume 4. We have been through a couple of Volumes so far and we have witnessed epic, hard-hitting main events. Adam Wolf and Xander Payne tore the house down, putting on Volume’s greatest main event to date. Even though he lost, he put the RW Champion to the limit, proving why he was signed to this company in the first place.
